    Sweden becomes the first Fitesa site to puchase 100% CO2-free electrical energy. Fitesa receives the RISE Durable Product Award for our 100% Biobase BioPE/PLA.

    Beginning of BioPE/PP spunbond commercial sales in Europe.

    Fitesa receives the IDEA Roll Goods Achievement Award for our 100% Biobase PLA Soft spunbond.

    Beginning of 100% PLA spunbond in Europe, the US, and Latin America. Fitesa establishes its ESG Committee.

    Fitesa speaks at Outlook Europe about the selection of sustainable raw materials, intensifying the promotion of the CO2 footprint calculation for nonwovens. Sweden becomes Fitesa’s first ISCC+ certified site. Fitesa supplies its first Nonwovens with recycled and renewable content produced under the mass balance system.

    Fitesa has the largest biobased product portfolio in the spunlaid industry. With solutions ranging from 20% to 100% renewable source content, we enable our customers to increase the environment-friendly content of end-use products. We are committed to investing globally in research, sourcing, and testing to commercialize new sustainable products

Fitesa owns a reforestation business in the South of Brazil. Although the primary goal of this operation is commercial, we have a long-term commitment to maintain the cultivated area, use the best environmental practices, and protect its biodiversity.
