2014
Fitesa develops its first spunbond fabric with BioPE and PLA resins -
2015
Sweden becomes the first Fitesa site to puchase 100% CO2-free electrical energy. Fitesa receives the RISE Durable Product Award for our 100% Biobase BioPE/PLA. -
2018
Beginning of BioPE/PP spunbond commercial sales in Europe. -
2019
Fitesa receives the IDEA Roll Goods Achievement Award for our 100% Biobase PLA Soft spunbond. -
2020
Beginning of 100% PLA spunbond in Europe, the US, and Latin America. Fitesa establishes its ESG Committee. -
2021
Fitesa speaks at Outlook Europe about the selection of sustainable raw materials, intensifying the promotion of the CO2 footprint calculation for nonwovens. Sweden becomes Fitesa’s first ISCC+ certified site. Fitesa supplies its first Nonwovens with recycled and renewable content produced under the mass balance system. -
2022
All Fitesa nonwoven sites in Europe are ISCC+ certified. Sulmona becomes Fitesa’s first ISCC+ certified films and elastics site. -
2023
Fitesa Cosmópolis becomes ISCC+ certified. Fitesa supplies its first Nonwovens with recycled and renewable content produced under the mass balance system.
